Default What size sealed box would you go with?

I have a 92 SI hatchback. I have a 60x4 Alpine deck running my Kappa speakers all around so the treble is just awsome, but I have no bass. I want a budget system, but will still pound and be affordable. This is what I am getting, but I have questions on a box.

Audiobahn ALUM12Q sub powered by a MA AUDIO amp (not sure what one yet, but close to 800watt RMS @ 2 ohm x 1.

I am skeptical getting a 12" sub just because so many of them sound boomy and not as tight as some 10's. I have heard nothing but good things about some of Audiobahns subs, especially the ALUM series. So that is why I will get the 12" since all the reviews I have heard said they are as good as Eclipse ones, but for half the price and that they hit hard and tight like a 10". What do u think about this sub?

My main question is what size sealed box to run it in?

Audiobahn recommends .5 - 2 cu.ft but I don't want to run anything over 1.5 to try and get away from the muddy bass that sounds distorted and not as tight. I was thinking anywhere from .88-1.25. suggestions?

most car audio forums don't like audiobahn because of their mass production and their blingin look, and they don't have good bass, its just "bleh" bass. Id suggest looking for some like http://www.reaudio.com, one of hte best driver producers out there IMHO.

::EDIT:: the site should give you box parameters
