Leaking crankshaft oil seals, should I tackle it myself?
I have the Haynes Manual to help me and I have lot of tools, should I do it myself, or leave it to a mechanic?
I'm kinda hesitant about removing the transmission for the rear oil crank seal.
Haynes says I have to remove the dizzy for the rear crank seal, is this absolutely neccesary?
What do you guys think? Any tips or advice are very welcome.
Thanks in advance

If you've never done any kind of mechanical work like this, then I highly recommend taking to a Honda shop. The fact that you're hesitant would lead me to say that. If you are going to start working on cars and would eventually like to be doing what you'd like to be doing, then get an old version of your car or even start familiarizing yourself with the tools you have and work on easy things like oil changes and tune-ups on your current car.
Before I owned a Helms I was pulling the trans on my 91 Si. Its not a big job at all IF you have the right tools and a little know how. If you have something else to drive while this car is apart I say go for it. Sometimes the only way to learn is by jumping in head first. Either way good luck!
