It looks like engine oil. You'll have the remove the transmission and put in a new rear main seal, but offset it, so it doesn't ride on the same spot on the crank (the old seal probably wore a groove in the crank).

Or you could try using an oil additive to renew the seal instead. Sometimes they do work, but that looks like a bad leak.

thanks for your input. i put bar's rear main seal repair, just letting the engine run for about 30 minutes for 2 days, leak reduces to tiny drop. will see, the product instruction said you can see best result after driving for 200 miles.

That is a band-aid fix. It may create more problem in the future then it is worth.

I've had this same problem and thought it was the rear main seal. Have you ever replaced the oil sending unit? That's where my leak was. It's right above the oil filter usually.

ok. i'll try to check more where the oil leak is coming out. i notice that leaked oil is too dark, i just did an oil change and the oil on the dip stick is clean and newer.

Look for stuff leaking above, like the distributor seal or VTEC solenoid.

The transmission fluid should be pale yellow, like new motor oil. In fact Honda says you can use motor oil in there.
