Yes, my roommates Integra, we didn't use a blockguard. Just changed the pistons for JE's, and the rod bolts for ARP's. B16 head w/CTR's and bolt ons. We beat that car up pretty good, and pretty often, it was also his daily driver for about 20,000 miles, before it was stolen

Just curious, don't want to thread jack either but, if im f'ing around in the streets, lets say im flooring it going 80 mph and at 8.5k rpm and suddenly my sleeves gives out what should I expect it to be like. Would it just die, or is it the scariest thing that can happen? I just never had a motor blow on me.

Well, it will get slower, start blowing smoke and burning oil. Then when you do a compression check it will read like ****.
If u somehow managed to crack a large piece off and then it started flying around then all bets are off.
