90 Accord Clutch and Speedometer/Odometer Problems
Just replaced the clutch master cylinder and release cylinder and still can't build tension in the clutch. The clutch stays on the floor. All other possibilities have been checked like the fork bearing and such. Is it possible that after bleeding that air could still be in the line causing the problem? We bled the line until we had a steady stream. Repleaced the slave cylinder first and then the master but only when we could not get tension with the slave replacement. Any suggestions? Next problem is this: Out of the blue, my speedometer/odometer quit working right. It works sporadically and seems to start working again in while driving down certain roads which is really weird. At the same time this happened, my check engine light came on. I am trying to sell this car and don't want to put any more money into it than I have to. How much might it cost to fix the later problem and should I even mess with it? Thanks in advance for helping this little lady!
first i suggest going to autozone/ or any autoparts store like that , that will check the code that the EPU is throwing...i.e. find out what the check engine light is for
Will autozone check it for free? That would be great if they did however I can't drive the car because of the clutch problem that I mentioned...

You should get a Helms manual, it will help a lot. To check your speed sensor you need to put up the front of your car and spin the wheel and see if you are getting 5 volts from one of the wires. One will be ground, one will be 12v and one will be 5v when the wheels are turning. Look up VSS or vehicle speed sensor in the search. Also, did you check your slave cylinder?
I've got a Haynes Manual. That is what led me to replace the slave cylinder and the clutch master cylinder. The main problem is that the clutch still stays on the floor after replacing both and after bleeding the system. We bled the system this way: Pumped the clutch 20 times and left it on floor. Opened bleeder valve and watched for stream. Closed valve. Repeated the procedure at least 10x and the clutch STILL will not build any pressure. I know the slave cylinder was bad as it was leaking.
I've searched this forum and others for a similar problem as mine and I can't find any. That is why I was wondering about the bleeding process. As many times as we pumped the clutch, could there still be some air in the lines?
Thanks for all the replys so far.
