Im worried for my Integra (95 SE). I get nervous parking it anywhere now!!! I hate going to the mall anymore because I have to leave my car parked by all those loser kids that loiter everywhere. I used to have a 1994 Honda Civic EX, but it got stolen from one of my college parking lots when I was in class for an hour. I miss my Enkei rims and VTEC o well, I got a deal on a 95 SE (so much for GSR)... All these threads coming up about stolen Integras **** me off. I wish people would just keep their damn hands off of them and go get a job so they can buy their own if they want one so damn bad. I wished I would have caught those @$$hole kids who stole my civic so I could beat the living crap out of them, would have almost been worth it!!!!! People who steal cars are ****, seriously!

You my friend are brave. Can anyone link me to a good BOOT for cars? I would love a city issued boot, but that might be too much $

no matter what you do and they really want it
they will get
so security is out of the question
just crossing your fingers that they wont take it

I had shiftlock, alarms w/airhorn and cut off switch
they took it anyway...

 

yes but layers of security will stop the small time guy from riding away with ur car

they can always tow your car if they want it bad enough. hell, i had some fucken thieves try that a few years ago to my turbo'd ls eg!! luckily my brother's car was in front of mine and they had a hard time getting to my front wheels...bumped my car and alarm goes off...i wake up...cops come since neighbors called the cops...******* get busted!! turns out one of the damn kid's father owns a shop...and he's been using his father's tow truck to jack cars! found at least 9 civic/tegs in their shop that were stolen and used for parts!! big time bust!!

 

ALL of my friends that have had integras have had them stolen, some more than once i try not to sweat it too much..thats what insurance is for

Yea I really HATE theives.! My car got jacked on Xmas Eve last year. Was at work in the mall, and came out to an empty parking garage. I really wish I'd find those bastards.

yea i owned my teg for 4 whole freaking days... didnt even have insurance or tags on the thing, someone tried boosting it from my parking lot. Ended up busting my ignition which costed me 75 bucks to repair. Went out and got me two clubs, one for my steering wheel and one for my brake, if them bastards want it, theyre gonna have to work for it. I would invest in a kill switch, and an alarm. Another good cheap trick, if you leave your car in a really bad fuŠk!n neighborhood, disconnect ur battery cables, theyll leave it alone thinking its just a broken car. Requires a lil work but your teggie will still be there when u get back to it.

 

i go to college at UCI..and during spring quarter i parked my EK hatch (just lowered..but bone stock..and riding on GSR rims) in the dorm parking lot...a few hours later i came out and the car was on blocks.....some ******* ****** or may i say ******S jacked the rims...the dorm parking lot gets alot of traffic..so i dont know how nobody saw them....i was glad i was driving that bucket car..because i recently sold my 94' LS then....now i am in a '99 LS...(gotta love integs! and the '98+ looks)

moral of story is: even if you drive a bucket (beater) car...if someone wants something from it..they are will/can take it from you...so your car is never safe...anywhere...except your garage...and if u plan to park your car outside..the best security is sleeping outside with your car holding a bat
