What does it mean when my "MAINTANCE REQUIRED" Light in the guage cluster turn from GREEN to YELLOW?
y did my light turn from green to yellow? Does it mean there's something wrong with my car? Whats the problem? CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE?!! THANKS

you need an oil change bud, remember to reset the indicator when you do the oil change

i just changed the oil and trasmission fluid a few days ago. How do i reset the indicator?

Is that the only thing that Maintance Required light/button is for? like say if it turns orange it means to change the oil and thats all that could be wrong?

That indicator turns yellow after a number of miles, and it will turn red after some other number of miles. That is all it is. Keep up with the regular maintenance and ignore the indicator except to reset it if you would rather see green.

the warning light has nothing to do with any type of internal sensor that detects if your oil is going bad or your car is not working correctly. It is connected with the odimiter, and just changed color based on miles. It is really just a reminder.

i cant even tell you how many of these threads ive seen. Nobody seems to notice the little black slot next to it that looks like a key would fit in it huh. lol.
