somthing went pop

i was just driving home and i was just takin it easy and somthing made a pop sound, but it was very loud. it was located in the drivers side front. and again i was just going slow behind a truck. any help what so ever would be greatly appricieated.

any check engine lights? did you run over something? tire pop? any engine noise? you need to be a bit more specific
