My driver's window is slow as a turtle going up...anyone have this problem?
I have already tried the lubricant in the window track with no success. I was told my window motor is most likely finished and I need to spend $300 on a new one from the dealer. Anyone know of another solution?
honda sales a special lubricant for the window rubber track that it guides on. did you also grease up the metal track that is connected to the motor? if worse case scenario buy a used from any integra or just check classifieds for people parting out there car.
Mine are starting to do that too... passenger side goes up slower then the driver side. Also, recently, when lowering the driver side, it goes down about 1 inch, slows down to a crawl for another inch, then back to normal speed
Like the above post suggests, they just need to be lubed. However, I have heard that the motors loose some power over the years and would evently need to be replaced.
As for the special spray, I believe its just a lithium spray lube.

You know what's weird.
I have a 4 door and the front ones are slower than pond scum, but the back windows roll up pretty quickly.
I know this is a typical issue with integras. My old 2dr was slow too.

I'll go to the dealer today and see what they say. My driver window is used th emost so it seems logical that it would stop working first. Little annoyances like this over time tend to change the way I see my car. If I'm going to keep it, the car must be perfect and tight.
silicone spray at your local parts store..........spray the **** out of it.......spray it so it runs all the way down then shoot some down there too. Works for me

this has been happening to me latly, i took the inside door panel off and cleaned the rubber runner that the window follows and it now works fine. I gave it a little lube and its all better.
give it a try!
