i was browsing the parts section on a honda dealership website and before choosing parts, you have to select model, trim, 2dr, and it asks "do you have california emissions?", and it made me think?, cause i really don't know.
cause the couple i bought it from were from the sacramento, california area, but i think it was bought there originally, but not sure cause i don't have any documentation or anything, but since the car was from california, would it have any kind of different emissions stuff on it? btw, i don't have the label on the hood cause i had a wreck and needed a hood replacement, so theres no label.
so how can i find out if i have california emissions? i just want to make sure nothings robbin power or anything, and am just trying to know as much about my car as possible, thanks

i just always hear its strict emissions there, so i was just wondering if they set something different in the engine, ecu, etc ....... so its pretty much the same?
i did have an 02 code1 a couple times, but then goes away after resetting hazard fuse

it just really hard to pass smog here some times..
I don't know of any CA smog parts..
I know some motorcycles have CA legal cams.

alright, i guess no need to worry then, thats cool, all i needed to do was just confirm from some californians, thnks
i guess they should'nt even ask the question "do you have california emissions?" on those sites where you order parts, especially if it does'nt make a difference either way.
