i can get complete front and rear converions for 5 lug for 450. but its ITR spec with big spline.. how hard would it be, or is it possible to change over the knuckels to regular spline?
im interested in the 5 lug for my 92 hatch... right now it has a SOHC turbo, but i plan on getting a swap together when i get my parts instock. but those ITR hubs are going to **** me up.
can i just take 92+ civic hubs and press them right in?

I agree, number 6 in the picture

Use axles from a CRV 1997 2001 they are 36 MM axles (big spline) and same length as a normal B-series axles so no fitment issues with the half shaft, or 5-lug hubs. Plug and play, and yes i have done this before

you need to change the hub, which is #6, the bearing is #4 which you need to change as well

the swap will be for a 92 hatch with a SOHC turbo.
getting ITR 36 spline axles arn't a option.
so can i order US spec 32 spline hubs and appropriate bearing and press them into the JDM ITR knuckels? i want 5 lug, but for right now, i want to still rock a single cam.

Am I missing something here cause thats not what he said. MR5 EF9 said to use the axles from a 1997-2001 CRV not an ITR.

any year or engine type that is dual cam is out of the question. im staying D series. so using JDM ITR axels, USDM axles, CRV axles.. just wont work.
i guess im going to have to take a chance on buying this 36 spline 5 lug, and buy 2 USDM ITR hubs, and hope they work out.
if not, i guess i can sell the JDM converions, and loose my profit in the new ITR hubs.

or you can go to any axle shop and have them make custome axles for you, or if you have brains do it yourself. USE the SOHC axles and mount CRV outer joints and boots one them. The shaft is the same diameter and will fit. Similar process when doing a H-swap in a EG/EK civic with the custom axles

ok, thats what I wasn't thinking of. Sorry about that.
I do agree though, just custom the axles with CRV outers and the rest stock. This way would probably be cheaper than buying USDM ITR hubs but more labor would be involved.

im my own mechanic, and i have a hyd. press and a pretty avid machine shop at work.
im kicking around the idea of changing the outers.. the conversion has 1 axle left in it, so im just wondering where i can find 1 outer CRV/ITR half shaft.
either that, or hold out for a CTR set, hopping the cost stays right around this sweet deal.

Do you really have S.A.R.S? because I though that was in china mainly? ohh well...
If you want to get the 5 lug for your hatch go for it and try it out the way you want all I can tell you is that your throwing money away. Just buy a CTR 5 lug your original axels will work with those plus you dont have ABS ... all the better to just trade your potential JDM big spline front 5 lug for CTR 5 lug

I had the same problem. D serie engine with JDM front ITR disk brake.
I finally found a USDM kit. But I don'T think the USDM hub will fit in the JDM knuckle.
CRV and JDM ITR are almost the same.
CRV doesn'T have the same bearing and hub compared to the USDM ITR one.
The best thing. find a DC2 knuckle RS/GS/LS/GSR
install into him a ITR USDM hub

The hubs and bearings are interchangeable. get some USDM ITR hubs and bearings from the Acura dealer and press them in. Then you will be 32mm.
Trust me I just did it...

this is an option.. but the hubs alone are a bill each, and then bearings. so im thinking if i get 2 CRV/JDM ITR/Prelude outer axles joints, and have them put on my SOHC axles, i'll be in business. just looking for the cheaper alternitive.
