Default AEBS Typhoon manifold on my b16a1?

Well i did a search and found some questions and concerns regarding putting this on the b16a1 but didn't really see any solutions.

Has anyone installed one of these in their b16a1 swap in EF, what all do I need to know to make this as easy as possible?

thanks in advance.

some people are saying there are fitment issues with the fuel rail, also there is no spot to mount the FITV from the pr3 on this manifold so vaccum and coolant lines need to be rerouted or something along those lines...

If the IAT sensor is placed on the #2 runner on the AEBS IM, then u will need a newer style fuel rail that places the FPR on the end. If there is no provision for the FITV (which i heard is true), then bypassing the coolant lines is easy. Vacuum line routing should be easy as pie too, if any is needed.

You dont need the fitv, I removed it on my stock PR3 manifold.

I can figure out hoses and such...but do you know if the IAT sensor is placed on the #2 runner? or are you speculating..

how is the new b16 manifold setup, most likely the AEBS is designed to that rather than the older b16a1.

Search "AEBS" in the all motor forum for a pic of the manifold. I do think the IAT is placed on the #2 runner, just like on the skunk and R manifolds. If u have the stock first gen fuel rail, ur gonna need any 94+ B series rail.

I have it in my EF. There is fitment issues with the fuel rail but not hard to figure it out. The IAT is on the runner. Reroute the coolant line and your golden. I think it works great, especially for the money. I just wish my was polished like the one on the box. LOL!

The issue with the fuel rail is that its designed to work with the newer style 94+ b series rails that have the fuel regulator located in a slightly different location.
