About a year and a half ago, i put a b16 into my ef and i threw a clutchmaster stage 2 racing clutch in as well (6 PUCK).....since then i am on my 3rd clutch cable and about ready to jump to my fourth, i was curious if anyone knows anywhere that they make high perfomance clutch cables (if that's even such a thing) and where i could get one if they do or do i just have to keep buying the stock clutch cables.....i've tried searching around a little and haven't found any yet....any help would be really appreciated, thanks.....

i got one from schucks, and the other one from car quest.... just was curious if they made stronger ones that could withhold the clutch.....
No wonder, I got mine from Honda and it has worked out just fine.
In this thread you can see my old clutch cable being compared to my new one: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=757568
Can you see the difference? It's the 3rd post in the thread I believe.

What is breaking on the clutch cable? Is it the plastic adjuster nut or is the cable actually breaking. I have had some pretty stiff clutches in my time but never had a cable break. I don't think Hulk Hogan could break that cable with his leg.

On mine, it was that plastic piece, check my thread out to see it.

alright, when i did my swap, i just flipped my bracket around and used my stock civic cable, that stretched way out within 2 weeks, so i went down to car quest and bought a 90-93 teggy one, that one lasted a while, but i had to keep adjusting it, then that one just snapped in half....the cable did about 3 months ago and i was way out of town, so without thinking, i just bought another one for a civic instead of a teggy and that one is almost to the point where it is stretched out all the way, so.....i don't know, i hate to go to the dealer to cuz they are so spendy.......
Yes, I went with the Teg clutch cable that I got from Acura. Haven't had any problems with it since I bought it and I am using a Hydro tranny with the Hasport conversion kit.
