Default DC 4-1 header too short, pushes against oil pan. Wrong one?

I bought a DC 4-1 header used a few months ago. Finally went to put it on yesterday and when I bolted it up and I got under the car to attach the exhaust pipe to it I noticed the header sits up against the oil pan and is putting presure on it.

The the bracket coming down to attach to the header (one with 2 bolt holes) is hanging down way lower than the header.

I was installing it into my '95 EX with z6 still in it. Being that the headers too short, is it one for a 4th gen D series? Or which D motor would be shorter in height?

The DC 4-1 is a short header. Dont know why that is but it is. You need about 3 - 6 inches attached (depending on the car). And it goes very close to your oil pan. So all that is normal. But it shouldnt be putting any pressure on the oil pain, you should have like a thumb space between them.

There's not a bit of room between it. Its right up against the oil.

I had a DC 4-1 on it a few years ago and it fit fine. Didn't rub and fit up the cat. no prob. then

Did you possibly get a header for the wrong motor? The GSR has a taller deck than the B16 if I remember correctly.

I guess that is what I have. I am just trying to see what motors this will fit correctly to sell it now. Doesn't do me any good right now.
