problem with dc header install on my hybrid
just bought a dc 4-1 header to replace my 4-2-1 header. the thing is that the 4-1 doesnt clear the oil pan on the bottom (header not tall enough). my brother says that i gotta bang my oil pan in, but my dad says my brother is crazy and iu shouldnt do it. well im askin you guys. how to get my damn 4-1 header in.

Re: problem with dc header install on my hybrid (F120man)
u sure you got the right part? my 4-1 fits perfect, but for a d16. one of my friends 4-1 on his civic hybrid clears perfect too. don't bang your oil pan.

Re: problem with dc header install on my hybrid (tominos)
yeah im sure its the right part, i compared the old one with the new one. and overall the 4-1 is bigger hieght and length wise. i have a b18c in a cx btw. i figured that banging my oil pan is not right. need more feed back tho. thx

Re: problem with dc header install on my hybrid (Vap133)
you probably have a b16 4-1... which wont clear the b18c deck height/oil pan.
but on the other hand a b16 4-2-1 WILL clear the b18c oil pan...
so take ur 4-1 and trade it in for b18c 4-1
hope that helps.
