help! need to replace exhaust fast!
running on cracked, broken, and dragging gs-r exhaust, need to replace fast!
assuming i purchase a dc sports jdm 4-1 header, when purchasing a catalytic conveter with 2.5" inlet/outlet and exhaust system to go with it, would I look for a cat and exhaust designed to bolt up to aType-R or a GSR? and is there anything else i need for it?

Longer.
Use Carsound cat part number 94006. It's a 17" long 2.5" IN/OUT cat. I recommend getting one already fitted with flanges from SMSP. I should clarify that the SMSP Carsound 94000-series cats are 17" long after he's put the flanges on.
Then get a 2.5" bolt-on cat-back system from kteller.com.

I think an ITR or LS system might be easier to fit, but you still might have to have the exhaust shop chop it down anyways. I'd ask kteller8 or SMSP (if you buy the cat from him) about what they think would work first before you decide.
If he can't tell you, then I'd play it safe and get the longer GS-R cat-back, then have the exhaust shop chop it down to length.
