Default anyone with z6 motor/si tranny!!

my tranny went out on me and i changed it this weekend. i found out that i didn't even have an si tranny, but i do now. but i broke my speedo cable, so until i have time to go to honda, i need anyone with this setup to let me know what rpm is for like 45mph, 55mph, 70mph, etc. any help would be very apprec. since i don't have a license. thanks

This should help for now, don't go faster then the rest of traffic :D Its Orlando, the gridlock should keep you in check.

true, during the day its not to bad, but cops like to follow me down the 40mph roads because i drive a honda and its loud and blah, blah, blah. so if anyone can give me any idea it would help a lot. cops in orlando, and all of florida for that matter are dicks.

w/ a 88-91 Si tranny 60mph = 3k rpm.

i havent had a speedometer for a while since i put in a gsr cluster and didnt get around to hooking up the vss. i

5th gear 3k rpms= 60mph now jsut work off that and u should be fine.

thanks, that at least gives me some kind of reference point. all i know is i was on the interstate this morning staying with traffic at about 4k. my old dx tranny i know 4k was close to 90mph. 70mph was i think 3200rpm or something.

so 5th gear at 4k = 80mph?
if yes then 70 should be around 3500rpm, right?
