First Post: Read throught every thread on VAFC II and need Clarification.
Hows it going everyone. I have an '01 GSR with a V2 intake, DC 4-2-1 headers, and a Magnaflow catback. After reading all the threads on the VAFC II it seems that it may not be a solid investment, and the hondata is the way to go. Is the VAFC II as tempermental as people have made it seem. ie. resetting ecu every couple weeks, getting error codes/check engine lights, or are these the results of not installing it correctly and not tuning it on a dyno. Apexi hasn't even updated their website with the VAFC II info which is suspect. Don't plan on putting forced induction on the car. Just want to tune the A/F ratio and lower VTEC to around 5200rpms. Thanks for any advice you can throw my way.
