One headlight shining brighter than the other
Did this ever happen to anyone one of my headlight is shining brighter than the other.I tought the bulb blew, but my high beams work. When i turn on my low beams nothing. But when i turn on my high beams and turn if off,and turn on my low beam the bulb stays lite but just not as bright as the other one.If i turn off my foglights then it goes off completly.WTF. I checked the fuse its good. I switched bulbs and the same thing happend. Whats going on.Should i just change both bulbs change all the fuses just to be safe.?BTW its the driver side headlight. Any help would be great thanks.
same thing happened to me, except it was the passanger side. it turned out to be my connection. The plug that directly plugs , or the female end you could say that the bulbs male end fits into. just wiggled that bitch around, still ***** with me though when its pissed i guess. the outside plastic is kinda melted, but i donno why. no open wires. bump for you

Ummmm....not at all. If your low beam burnt out, you'd just have one low beam, and when you switched to hi beams both would work. It doesn't work that way.

EXACT same thing happend to me. I took it to a guy I know, they do tint, stereo, alarms, etc. Anyway, I cant remember what he said it was exactly but, from what I remember, he cut the ground wire (something about the relay was in what he said to) and just took it and ran a little screw thingy to it and connected it to the radiator support. Ill go take a picture in about 2 minutes to show you what I mean. Kinda confusing but it did the trick. My driver side headlight was not as bright as my passenger side. Switched the bulbs, nothing. Asked him and he fixed it. I love those guys they hook me up.
And if you live in the LA/LBC area and need tint/stereo/alarm put in just let me know Ill hook you up.

id say its the plus also...sometimes they can get a bunch of dirt or goop or whatever **** in there and it messes with the connection, easiest thing to do is just replace them

Here you go. It is the wire on top that has the blue connector on it and goes to the radiator suppport.

Sorry for the crappy quality, I dont have photoshop and paint isnt the best resizing program out there.
