boost on LS bored 20 over and no sleeves????

boost on LS bored 20 over and no sleeves????
is this gonna be ok? i mean, i've done everything else to the block to get it ready for boost except sleeve it........then i get to thinking that boring my LS block .2 over might cause problems in the future, since i didn't do sleeves......and i'm trying to push 15+ psi......

15PSI depending on the turbo is probably right around where you're going to start worrying.
Just be careful, I think these guys are exaggerating. Let us know how you make out, and if you have any failures that you can authoritatively point to being sleeve failure.

i tuned a car w/ stock sleeves bored over, LS/Vtec that made over 400 whp and is driven pretty hard, still no problems...
so 15 psi will be just fine if its properly built/tuned.

its not mine, its a guys car i tuned, we did probably 15 dyno pulls over 400 whp, and he's taken it down thet track numerous times on high boost. we tuned earlier this year.

so i guess as long as it's properly tuned it should be okay. I don't plan on daily driving it at 15psi (even though this is my daily driver), just at the track. The only problem that I have is finding a reputable tuner near me. I live in the western part of VA.....i've got Richmond about 3.5 hours away and then northern VA about 4 and the beach about 4.5 or so. Either way i'm going to have to DRIVE my car far to get it tuned.........
