Aircraft Paint Stripper
A while back (Long *** time ago) I painted my fuse box covers and now want them black again...
would aircraft paint stripper eat throught the plastic?
If I would, does anyone know what I could use to remove the paint w/o sanding (don't want to remove the embeded writing)
Thanks,
-Nick

If its regular spray paint and not have been clear coated just soak a rag with laquer thinner and wipe it off. Works very good for me. Make sure you where gloves.
laquer and stripper will melt plastic if it is strong enough and there is enough of it. Ive melted many pairs of rubber gloves to my hands after using thinner. What I would do....
Get some laquer and a cloth, and just wipe it. Use your best judgement from there, its easy to tell whats going on

Bull dog actually makes a paint stripper for plastic, for molding and what not. Last time I used it on an interior piece it ended up messing up the piece, instead of peeling right off, it bubbled but after I washed it off it was like a sand paper finish.
