Default inline four remapped ecu

I have an inline four pr3 ecu that they remapped for me. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with thier ecu's. so far this thing is garbage everytime I put it in reverse I get a code 73 (random misfire cyl 3). I have replaced all the ignition components ie spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor ect. I have also gone as far as hooking up my friends ZDYNE and the car runs fine no check engine lights or anything. I guess my big concern is if anybody has got any shotty products from them before. any answers would be appreciated.

I have e-mailed thier tech address as they said to do and they have not e-mailed me back. just waiting for thier response on the issue. I was just wondering what everyones experience is with IL4 and thier quality on products. thanks for the response anyways.

Could it be that the ecu (and not the chip) that you have is defective for some reason? Thats one thing you could look at as well. Its strange how you get a missfire in reverse.

Have you modded your HF harness????
See: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=982646
Might not be your problem, but the HF only stuff can screw with you after a swap. One of those "HF only" things is a reverse switch!
