Default wire up a relay for a fog lights

i was told to wire up a relay for my fog light and i do need to since my switch keeps gettin hot so if any 1 has a diagram on how to wire up a relay and explain it to me will be great

30 Amps relay:

+87 __

85 l __ l 86 +

+30 l


87 goes to (+) of Battery fusing a 14ga. wire at the bat.
86 can go directly to 87.
85 goes to a grounded (-) switch on the dasboard.
30 is the 12V (+) output to the (+) side of the fog lights.
You can ground the lights to chasis near the brackets.

so is that a 4 pong relay ? can i use a relay from a radiator fan and wire it up ?
