Default would like a new motor for si

looking at B16 but what about vtech the si comes with will i lose that or what , do i have to change the motor mounts , headers too or should i keep what I have and rebuild a little beast with a turbo. Im lost I been stuck with a 1.5 four door civ for a long time now. but now the si is in the house, i need some affordable help. you guys know which way im headed SPEED but i need the basics HELP ME OUT break it down for a bro

what year of an si do you have?and no you will not be giving up VTEC if you go b16

you wil have wiring to do but if you buy a vtec motor than no you wont loose it you will have to just wire the vtec up

You can now use cable or hydro trannies depending on which mount kit you use.

so know stock mounts not even from other honda and what tranny would come with b16 im sorry if i have dum ? but i just need to really understand everthing befor i start this swap ty

If you do decide to put a b series motor in your crx you will need knew mounts. If you do go with a b series motor you need to make sure you get one with a cable tranny. Now haspot does make a kit to convet cable to hydro. I also suggest converting from obdo to obd1.
