Default good or bad for boost?

I bought some skunk2 stage 1 cams for my turbo'd gsr....when I put them in I'll have a fully built gsr motor running 10-15 psi of boost maybe 20 at the track. my question is, will these cams hurt my performance or help it, even if it is a little. I know turbo cams would have been more ideal or even stage 2 or something, but I didn't want to idle to change. skunk2 themselves have told me that it would hurt performance cause there is too much overlap. what do you guys think?

iv'e always heard that GSR cams are some of the best for forced induction, and that more agressive cams cam hurt performance. stage 1's are fairly mild, though, so i wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference.

Stock gs-r cams are the way to go. People have made over 500whp with gsr cams. There is no reason to upgrade, unless you are planning to increase your redline with the turbo.

The GS-R cams will yield better performance because they have less overlap. The Skunk2 Stage 1's are an NA cam, and overlap is good for NA, bad for turbo.

yeah I heard that the gsr cams are good for boost too. the reason why I want to replace these is because I am getting a fully built motor and I want a complete skunk2 head. I am going to sell these stage 1's and get the turbo cams. skunk2 said they were good for up to 20psi which is what I plan to max out on, even though I could go higher..hehe

I am currently asking skunk2 if they would exchange these since they are brand new and I'll just pay the restocking fee and shipping. I only paid 520 for them so no big deal.

anybody interested just in case, selling skunk2 stage 1 cams for 520 plus shipping which is like 25 dollars anywhere. so 545 shipped. spread the word for me please
