Default WHat tranny is better for my gsr swap

My buddy has a freak gsr i am trying to figure out why the hell it is so much stronger than the rest around my town, and one of the things is he has a 2nd gen b16a tranny, might that be one of the causes? and would lasd be better than it?

wtf? b and d are totally different things.

i would throw it in with a hydro tranny, be it gsr ls or type R.

try to stay away from the cable tranny's. these tend not to last very long when driving aggressively.

no accell, top end would be like a slug. Wouldnt have the ***** to turn it. past 3k man!

And youd have to make an adaptor plate. This is the quote of the day.

Go J1 or S1 cable JDM (shortest gearing) its a drag racing tranny.

I would say the super rare ys1 with factory LSD...oh wait crap I have one of those for sale for $750 (what a plug) shipped to your door with 60 day warranty...hmmm.

no but seriously both the JDM ys1 from the DA xsi and the USDM ys1 from the GSR are both great cable trannies.
