, but if thats not an option go GSR

I've seen a twin turboed LS/VTEC putting down like 265hp to the wheel, at 2500rpm.
Forgot where I saw it though, but having that much power down that low is badass.

*smacks self in face with hammer*......personally, if i had a gsr motor to turbo, itd be turboed, but i have a low mileage ls motor, so thats getting boosted, boost the gsr if you got it.

i hope that setup is just for ***** and giggles, sounds kinda like a waste to me.

or so I would imagine

not to mention that if you don't properly build up the LS/VTEC in the beginning, and then add boost, you can rest assure your engine will go kaboom.
I've answered this question before....
I am assuming you have an LS. I think it would be cheaper to build the LS block and turbo it Vs pay for a gsr swap, pay for install, then pay for turbo...plus I am sure an LS block is easier to replace if something goes BOOM

a turbo'd GSR will yield more power per boost due to vtec/better flowing head/higher comp...but i honestly hate trying to tune the overlap associated with vtec as i'm not as advanced as many people here are. hell my ls is making the same amount if not more power than many GSRs on here boost for boost, not to mention more usable torque. as for ls/vtec...i find that to be another problem if it's a daily driven car, unless you're confident in your mechanic/engine builder.
stock vs. stock GSR is probably the route to go but will cost more
built vs. built either motor is capable of creating insane power
in the end it's all a matter of preference...mine being the LS for simplicity.

you fuc king dummy, just go with the GSR turbo, LSVTEC is just not ment to be...
