im really not supposed to be on this web site but i really need help. i just bought a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse GS and i want to drop a GSX motor and tranny in it. but i cant find any good websites that carry these packages, if anybody knows anything please help

from talking for about 5 minutes with my friend who likes DSM's I'm pretty sure that the GST and GSX have indentical motors except the GSX is all wheel drive and the GST is just front. So just swap a GST in.... and find a forum that is for your vehichle

Mounts are not the same at all. 420 and a 4G63 have tranny mounts are not on the same side.

Actually, that's not true. I have seen one that has been done at a shop here in Austin.
