is it a good idea to put these things on a 20 year old car, if so whats the best brand some of you would roccomend

 

sure its a good idea...helps it breathe better which is always better... buy an ebay intake, and then get a K&N filter for it. and exhaust... have it custom made and put whatever muffler you want on there. like an apexi, thermal R&D, greddy, or whatever. custom is the way to go with old cars its almost the only way you can go
