Default 90-93 integra axle too long for crx/b16 swap....help

Ok start off I'm not a noob, I have done this swap quite a few times now. However in my crx with hasport mounts, ys1 tranny, and 90-93 intermediate shaft, I am using 90-93 teg axles the driver side axle has no problems and fits perfect, the passenger side axle seems to be too long. The axle fits and car drives fine, however the axle seems to be binding due to it being too long. The axle is shooting grease out of the cv boot because of this. I have seen on the hasport website on taking the dust caps of the axle and from behind the knuckle but I don't see how taking those out would give me that much more space for the axle to work with. I haven't had this problem with any other swaps I have done. Any suggestions besides getting raxles, or using 88-89 axles. Will taking those dust caps off give me enough space, or did I just get a bad axle. I got the axles off ebay, there was a seller selling the 90-93 axles as a set for crx b16 swap. My roomate actually bought everything and had it in his crx, but he never went anywhere with the project so I bought everything from him. So I don't know if those axles were rebuilt or new or what, I just know that the passenger side axle seems to be too long, and now my axle seal on the tranny on that side is leaking because of it now. Any suggestions would be great or if you have had this problem.

Removethe dust caps, it does help.
It may also be a 94 axle witch is longer, I would replace it.

The i-shaft if from a 5 speed, that wouldn't matter in this case however because the axle I am having issues with has nothing to do with the I-shaft. I guess I will go to autozone and buy a new axle and check the differences on them, If they are the same the only thing left to do is to remove the dust caps. Thanks for the info guys.
