Default 2003 Accord 4cyl owners please post your RPMs...

Hi guys,

after installing the CAI on my accord, I have finally driven on the freeway today, and I think the RPMs are significantly lower than they used to be!!

I'm really excited, but to check, can somebody post their RPM @ 50, 60, and 70mph for 4CYL 4DR LX 2003 Accord? Next time you go to work, school, w/e, if u could note those values, it'd be great.

Thanks guys!

RPMS never change...no matter what...in every gear, at every certain speed, there will be a designated RPM... the trannies arent ever changing gear ratio trannies....

The standard measure is __mph per 1000 rpm. Is yours a stick or auto? The auto 4 cylinder does about 30 mph per 1000 rpm in top gear with the tc locked. So, as Einstein might have said: 2 x 30 mph=60 mph = (2 x 1000 rpm) = 2000 rpm. Hey I didn't flunk out of algebra for nothing.
