Default Could this be a grounding issue?

94 ex..here is what happens, my dome light works forlike 2 days a week, my trunk light has came on only 3 times since I have owned the car. the other day my windsheild wiper wouldnt come on when I pushed the switch/lever down, however it worked when I turned the ****. it now works when I push teh lever down, but i gurantee next week it wont work.

and my cigarette lighter comes on and goes off all the time. I know this because I have my cell phonce charger in it and the led will be on, for like 10 mins and then go out. could all these probles be bad grounds?

There's a ground connection for each & every circuit in the car. For example there's a wire at the taillights that screws to the body somehow. There's a bunch of them under the dash somewhere, others are all over the car.

When one is disconnected, that circuit doesn't work properly. But sometimes it grounds itself thru another circuit, then you get really interesting problems.

Take a look at EE_Chris's signature. You might want to get your hands on a wiring drawing...

What more are you hoping we can do for you?

It seems you won't pony up for a Helms and can't find an online version, so other than you getting out there, tracing wires with your hands/eyes and making sure all connections are clean and tight, you're about done as far as troubleshooting goes.
