Default do i need shocks for lowering springs?

nothing fancy, i just want a drop...lookin into the prokit. for such a measley drop do i need a new set of shocks? what would be the simplest drop? thanks

eventually you'll need them....but ur stock shocks should last u like 15-30K miles

all depends how low you ewanna go, and if you want a shitty ride or not..id say 2" is pushing it on stock shocks. anything under that would be fine..but thats my opinion.


but like said above, they will go bye bye quicker

i lowered my car 2" without getting new shocks. sooner or later i'll need to upgrade but for the time being its fine

as everyone has said, u eventually will, but dont get tokico blues, they r just oem shocks painted blue, go with koni yellows or tokico illuminas...

Grab some Tokico Illuminas. Don't bottom out on stock shocks.

i just dropped my car with the skunk2 lowering springs, i got about a 2 1/2 inch drop, and the guy who installed it for me said i shouldnt need them right away, but its a good investment over time, i would start saving, just incase

actually tokico blues are pretty good.. better den gr2 in my experience.. but oo wells, different ppl, different taste.. so its really up to you..

thanks for the input guys...now that i have an idea of what i want to get...can anyone recommend a basic setup for a moderate drop?" i'm on a VERY tight budget...so perhaps just springs, and shocks later? thanks

Eibach Prokit and KYB AGX shouldn't be too expensive, and you'll still have adjustable shocks to set to your preference.
