Default mini-me question

I'm wondering if I am required to install a new ecu when doing the mini me swap. I'm going to be putting on a y8 head, will I need the corresponding ecu or will the stock ecu in my '90 CRX Si work until I have enough cash for a p28?

a pm6 can work if you run a vtec controller or if you know someone that can modify the pm6. There is a guy near me that can mod it so it will send a vtec signal.

So as long as I use an rpm switch or something like VAFC to activate vtec it doesn't matter if I change my ecu or not.

it can work on your stock ecu if you just run a switch to the vtec or an rpm activated switch

Thanks guys, I was worried the y8 head might not like the fuel maps my ecu was giving it, or something like that.
