Default Help Me Find Wheels For My DC2

We'll right now my car has 17's on it (came with the car) and a bunch of bubbles in the tires. I hate the ride and the 17's and having to worry about every little hole. I'm gonna go with some 16's. I definatly wan't them in white, maybe black. I was thinking about White Rota C8's. I'm just basically getting these wheels temporarily until after the winter until I can afford some Volks. Any rims you can recommend for me around $600? Here's a pic of my car. Yes I know it NEEDS to be dropped, but that's all in time.

Instead of shelling out money for rims in tires... "JUST FOR NOW"

save up ... you're only 7-900 away from getting some 16" Volks.

First of all, read the original post clearly.
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Beezle &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I definatly wan't them in white, maybe black.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Second, is it that hard to get the right spelling?
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SpoonTypeOne &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ya rota c-8 ..slip is cool..get royol bronze..not the reg one</TD></TR></TABLE>

I know this is not grammar school, but I'm sure you're not 11 who makes spelling mistakes and living in the AIM world.

VOLKS own ROTAS any ******* DAY! Enough said about that!
I like quality over anything ANYDAY.

$700 + $600 (his budget right now) = $1300, used mint condition Volks in 16.
$900 + $600 = $1500, brand new 16" Volks without any "hookups".

$1430 brand new shipped from Mackin in Japan "hooked" up.

dude whats ur point? 1430 for rims? thats ******* crazy not everyone is made of money.

i've seen people buy rota grids and put volks/ray stickers and alot of people cant even tell difference.

orginaly i said that as a joke because he already has 600 and saving up another 700 -900 for a set of rims is fducking crazy

edit: and quality? alot of ppl bash rota for that reason alone. many times i have seen broken SSR or broken RnR's etc and people have been like **** rotas blahblha till they get shutup by finding out its real not rota.

So you think I'm made of money?
I wish I was so I can wipe my *** with dollar bills and deposit it in your piggy bank. But in reality, I'm broke as ****---[god damn Turbo]---I live on my own, pay my apartment, bills, go to school full time and work my *** off earning a lame rate of $10.00/hr.

By the way, people who can't tell the difference between GRIDS and TE-37s/LE-37s don't deserved to own VOLKS or any other QUALITY wheel that's available in the market. Moreover, the ones who slap stickers on their GRIDS are fucktards that wish someday they can invest their money into something good, instead of "half-assing" it and saying, "OH, this is just for now".

Do it right the first time, unless you are really really really on a budget and want to be like, "DC2 Powered".

If you have $600, save it. Don't get all crazy and buy stupid **** and regret it later down the line. That is what you call POOR investment.

****, I could care less if you meant it as a joke. Stop being stupid.

ahaha

i am. currently job just ended, going to college and paying for insurence and ****.. yea pretty much poor man here

and how many people have u heard of ******* up rotas? how is rota a poor investment? because their not jdm? please. i've seen people track rotas and ride their car hard rotas dont **** up as much as people put out. real rims **** up too. spending a shitload of money on rims however yea is nice if u have the money. if ur on a budget or whatknot then rota could do it is not a BAD or POOR investment how would u look down the line and say **** it? o down the line ur going look and be like **** i should of spend 1000 more then i orginaly did because the wheels are a couple pounds lighter and are jdm?

edit: since ur paying for all that **** u should know that buying 1500 doller rims would not be easy. i get 675 an hour. and go to college and insurence and paying back for the car. i know it isnt as much or ewven close to how much you ar epaying but still.

Rotas are good wheels when your on a budget. Volk wheels are very high quality wheels. IF you got the money or you wish to have Volks and have to save a while... oh well. I have to say for the wheels I want. Some people just have to have the real thing. I love Rota, and how they make popular styles affordable, but I would rather have the real thing that is my opinion though. There really isn't a reason to fight about this guys is there???

Ok, how are VOLKS JDM? When they are available here in the U.S. market.
Just, cause the Japanese made it doesn't make it JDM. If it's from Japan and you can only get it from JAPAN then that automatically makes it GAYdm, I mean JDM.

Get your **** straight.

Oh, I've seen and heard of stories of ROTA's breaking off, LITERALLY.

Ok, tell me if you've seen someone **** up "REAL" rims from driving hard and hitting a curb. They might SLIGHTLY bend/chip, but not break off.

FORGED &gt; CAST --- PERIOD.

Hmmm, in Beezle's original post, I recall him stating that down the line, he wants some VOLKS and the ROTAS I advised him not to get "just for now" will be a poor investment. That is the reason why I brought up, bad or poor investing.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Dc2 Powered &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i get 675 an hour. and go to college and insurence and paying back for the car. i know it isnt as much or ewven close to how much you ar epaying but still.</TD></TR></TABLE>

God damn. $675/hour?
Stop selling drugs! ::sarcasm::

UGH, I'm just wasting my time.

JDMThoughts, we are not fighting...I'm merely debating with him. I can tell he's been around HT.com for awhile yet most of his arguments sound like it came from a 14 year old Freshman trying to make it in his Debate Team.

ON A SIDE NOTE: He is a young---barely got out of High School---college freshman.

acually u have many goodpoints and can prettymuch out debate me but yes all rims can **** up though. there was a thread on ht a bit ago when a real rnr was messed up and everyone bash rota. dont get me wrong i would take volks over rota anyday. and even 1 volk instead of 4 rotas haha. but still rotas is not a bad or poor investment. their pretty sutible rims.

and no we were not arguing, getting mad over somthing like this is stupid. neways yea.. ive said all i have to say.

edit: here is a fucked up rim and people right away assumed it was a Group N.(Rota) when it was a legit Mugen RnR'

I for one will not spend money on volks right now because it is not cost effective in my opinion. I daily drive my car over some pretty nasty roads and i would be shooting myself in the foot if i dinged up volks. Plus it makes a prime target for theft..........

ill take rotas for now thanx.......

I've had 15" rota's for a while now. Rock solid...and light enough.

Now, do I prefer Volks, Werks, or other "name brand" wheels to Rotas? Hell yeah. But are they worth 3 or 4 times the price of the Rotas? For me, HEEEELLLLL NO!

1 Broken Rota rim = $100

1 Broken "Name Brand" rim = $$$$$

Civic/Integra = Rota

IS300 = VOLK

i make fun of 24" wheels on caprices, just as i do someone who spends 1500$ on wheels for a civic/integra. (track cars excluded).

....i mean...why?

JMO....

Don't get me started...
You think civic/integras should stick with ROTA?

Say you were driving an IS300 with say, 18" LE37Ts on it. I'd assume you have plentiful of money. Then at a stoplight, here I come in my Integra with 16" LE37Ts...You look at me and laugh... OMFG an Integra with Volks LMAO. He probably thinks he's fast.

Well in my case. My so called Integra is fast and I will own your luxury car anyday of the week---if you had one.

Who said Volks cost $1500? Oh that's right, I guess I set the standard as to how much Volks cost in 16s that is. That is pretty amusing.

Anyhow...what if your car was a daily driver/bracket racer? I drive an Integra, so all I that my car is limited to are cheap imitations?

What people don't realize is that

FORGED &gt; CAST.

I've owned both. I live in CA where most roads are paved nicely. This is how I feel about quality wheels. Maybe if I lived in NYC where potholes are dime a dozen, I'd probably think twice about really nice wheels.

In no way did I claim that forged wheels are indestructible. That picture of the torn up RnR looks fishy...

Can I see more pictures...like the whole car itself?

UGH I don't want to start up further arguments. Please refer back to Beezle's original post. Read every damn sentence clearly and you will see the reason why I am still replying to this damn thread.

Damn, what did I start. We'll right now it's either by new tires for my 17's because they're about ot blow any day. One has a HUGE bubble in it. Or by some wheels with tires. I'm going to have $600 after I sell my rims on the Integra right now for $200 to my friend. The reason why I don't want Volks right now really is because I don't want to get such expensive wheels just when winter time is coming, plus I don't have the money for them now. So what I was gonna do is rock the Rota's or w/e rims in the winter and the Volks in the Spring/Summer so they don't get messed up. I was thinking of getting black ones though, since White would be a bitch to keep up with in the winter.

Ok, ok.. I get what you really want.

Case closed.

Don't buy new tires.., any ROTAs are better than what you have now. No offense, but, get what style ROTA you like man.

Don't listen to what these ******** are telling you It's your wheel & your car. Don't be the type that buys things for theirself to please other people.

Seriously, buy what you want, not because others said this or that. Don't be a sheep and jump on the bandwagon.

You like white rims, get em'. White C8s. Get that. Polished lip would make it a tad nicer too while your at it.

We'll I really asked the question so I thought maybe some of you would know a company that sold nice wheels for around my price range. I'm gonna get what I wan't and not what H-T wants. I was just hoping you could point some nice wheels out that maybe I would like better than the c8's. Oh yea, and btw, I can't STAND those wheels. I hate them too. Can't wait to sell them.
