Default Quick LS Build Question

I search around and some people were recommending trying to use OEM pistons in the LS blocks to raise compression. I was wondering if Civic Type R pistons would work in my b18a using the factory rods. Would any machining need to be done?

Thanks guys!

Yes CTR's require machining to LS rods to make them fit! P30 Pistons are a good choice too and require no machining! The choice is up to you though depending on your setup and goals!

Well then, the next question. Where can I get p30 pistons and rings? What motor did they come out of?
