ls cable to hydrolic
i was wondering how hard it would be to swap a 90 ls teg tranny for a new hydro tranny and i have searched and i can't find a swap kit like made by hasport or anywhere else. thanks
i think there are hyrdro to cable conversions, but not vice versa. it's quite a bit of work and i have not heard of it being done.
you should get a del sol b16 cable tranny. they are cheap.

i think you can use a pre-94 LS tranny. I don't know if you can add the hydro tranny without a lot of work. I've been here a while and have never heard of it being done. lots think, but no one does.

Both Place Racing and Hasport make the kits, here is the writeup from g2ic.com

thanks a lot the only reason why i want to go with a hydro clutch is because its getting hard to find a tranny with low miles if its cable and not a b16 tranny. thanks a lot for the help
also looking at this - not because of the tranny , but because the cable tranny gets hot and you start losing your tranny and a hydro tranny is always flowing and always about the same temp.
BS BS BS... Go to that g2ic.com write-up. Converting from a cable clutch system to hydro clutch system doesn't seem all that difficult (I say that since I haven't done it myself, I'll let the people who actually did it speak).
There's two ways you can run a hydro tranny though -
1. Do the full hydro conversion. That involves buying a 94+ clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, and misc. lines. Drill a hole in your firewall and mount the master cylinder. Switch out clutch pedals. Run lines to the slave cylinder. Bleed and you're in business (in a nutshell). Doing it this way provides the hydro clutch feel as well.
2. Do the Hasport or Place Racing cable->hydro conversion. You're still essentially running a cable setup, therefore the cable clutch feel will still be there. However, the process is easier and less intensive.
And guys, come on. Go to g2ic.com and you'll see a ton of people who've done this swap. Nobody does it on here because the majority of the Integras on here are 3rd generation (allllll hydraulic clutch systems).
