Just bought a new Distributor form DISTRIBUTOR KING and it rattles on start up quite bad. took distributor off checked bearings and shaft play but everything seems perfect. It's brand new!!!
Do all Integra distributors rattle?
Thought it might be the slotted gear on the end.
Seems to clear up after the car has warmed up.

 

Does anyone have a problem like this?

check if anything is loose

Weird after a good long drive the sound went away. the next day I started the car (cold) and not a sound. guess it just needed to be driven, works perfect now.
