Default pw0 dead. can i use a pr3? what about vss?

i have a crx with b16a. the pw0 isnt sending injector pulse anymore. i cant find a pw0 anywhere. i cant wait anymore...

i have a 3 wire vss that came with this swap. can i use this with the pr3? i have an SiR cluster in the car and it would use the electric vss, but ive read the pr3 is dependant on the cable vss.

someone please take me to obd-0 integra ecu school.

well im going to disconnect the wire from the vss for now and just try the pr3.

if anyone can shed some light on the vss difference between these two ecus that would be great.

i just dont want to fry anymore ecus over something that isnt mandatory right now.

You can use the pr3 with a electronic vss. Thats what I have ran in my last 3 cars

Though there are some internal differences between the PW0 and the PR3 (they have different programs that are not interchangeable) for the purposes you described, they are identical. The fuel and timing maps are pretty much identical, though they have different Vtec points.

The VSS is electronic for both.

so it's fine to use a PR3 for a car that was already wired and using a PW0 (assuming the different VTEC point which doesn't really matter)?
