Default Experience with OMNI-POWER coilovers anyone?

Hey guys whats up ... I am looking to lower the car .... I am looking for a coilover that will give me an improvment in handling by lowering the car, but not making the ride quality really hard... sporty stiff is fine.

My friend told me about the Omni-Power coilovers"street version" "he works with steve" and I was just wondering if anyone has installed these on there R... and what they thought of them and what the results were. al TIA

As of now, I really don't think they are an improvement over My Koni/GC set up. I still have to get them corner weighted and mess around with the pre load...

To be honest... they scare the **** out of me at WOT and feel very unsettled in and out of corners.... If I can not do what I want with these... I am selling them and going back to my old set up or buddy clubs...

I have the sport version 12kf/10kr

Smitdog has drove my car and it is safe to say he doesn't like them either..

Boosted-hybrid didn't like them either....

I will get them set up a bit better and give my final impression... but right now... I do not like them... Kinda feel under dampened and too bouncy.

I am running the Sport setup. I love them so far. I also swapped the front and rear springs so I have the 12k's in the rear and the 10k's in the front. I have yet to see a setup for the money that rivals them. I paid $599 from JHP.

Where did you get for $599?

I am about to get them from omnipowerusa.com they are about $736 shipped, I need to raise my car up for the winter.. it's way too lower now, formal owner uses springs....

Anyone know any cheaper sites i can get them? Wondering if i still need a camber kit with it.

I have the street- 10k front's and 8k rear's and I love them. I know a guy locally whos got the sport 12k front and 10k rear and is feed up with them. I went for a ride in his car and man are they stiff, the car has like no rebound at all. After I took him for a ride in my car he was confident in selling them to pick up the street versions.

One thing I don't like, however, is the way you would have to adjust ride height, it's not like other dampers. On these units you have to turn the shock body and at times it's stiff as hell and becomes a pain.
