"GC's are by far one of the best coilovers you can get for the price"
I just keep hearing good stuff about them. I'm looking for one set too.

if you get the OTS the ride is very nice, make sure to get good set of dampers too though.
edit- agx are great for DD and you will have a good ride

I got some ground controls for my hatchie. The ride is ok, kinda bumpy with stock struts, but not unbearable. When I got my koni yellows in, the ride was a lot smoother on the softest setting. Like slammed_93_hatch said...make sure to get a good set of dampers..

why? so you can have some shitty *** springs??
OTS is Off The Shelf, its what they have as a base, but you can get any spring rate you want.
DD= daily driving
the Red's like some one else mentioned are also a great damper they are just not externally adjustable, and for street use i don't know why you would want to change it all the time

...or NOT!!!
Ground Controls uae Eibach ERS springs for their kits, which are the ****. I run these springs (with custom rates) on my 2 1992 hatches.

I got some generic ones that they sell on ebay and they ride better that any other coilovers i have been on. only run you about $70. I believe xoxoparts.com sells them. Make sure you get some new shocks, cause I blew my stock ones out since mine is dropped lowest you can put them. I got some basic gr2 kyb's and they do the job.

If you get the custom spring rates for the GC's, what do you go with? Stiffer that OTS? How much stiffer?

It all depends on what struts you run.

there OTS setup is more then fine for any DD duty. if you have a b series motor go with a integra kit, it uses alil stiffer springs. if you have a H series bumb it up alil more.
when it comes to spring rates, there is not perfect combo, its not like adding cams and piston's, one setup isn't always better then the other.
there are TONS of varibles that go into spring rates, if you just drive the car on the streets the OTS setup is fine, like i said,

if you getting the neuspeed koni's at the same price as the regulars then do it, but if not just get the regular koni's.
thy nuespeed koni's just come with an extra snap ring. not worth the extra money

Downgrade? Really? I've ridden in his car and love the ride. He is switching to Apexi N1's so he's giving me a deal on the Zeal's, and I think they are better quality. Why do you say downgrade?
