Default egt sensor HELP

Ok, here is how stupid and triied I was. I was installing the egt sensor to my apexi gauge. The end was too long to fit in my manifold so I cut an 1/8" off. When I did white pounder and it looks like two wires were in side.

The question is "did I F*ck it up?

I'd like to see a picture if you can provide one but it sounds like you most likely did.

lol yes, you prolly wrecked it. There should have been hardware included that would let you control the length of the probe of how far it potruded into the runner.

Yes, you permanently damaged it. What you should have done instead of cutting it was just bend what ever was too long.
