Default NEED SOMEONE TO WELD IN NOVA!!

okay here is the deal I stipped the inside of my lug nuts. Im thinking of beating a peice of metal inside off them and placing a few tack welds on them. then using a braker bar or something. or does anybody else have any ideas? Thanks

I went and bought a air chisel. Wont go through the studs! well since I had nice groves I decided to take the chisel and a socket to the machine shop to have it welded. well they weld it toghther and I come home and it dosent work! all it does is strip the center even more! thats it I have had it! the car is now for sale!!!!

hammer a socket on to the outside of the lugnut, or if you just have steelies have a nut welded(or bolt) to you stripped lug

ok, so are the threads stripped or is it the actual lugnut that is stripped? Does the lug just spin around and not come off? What kind of lugs are they?

I have the tuner lug. With the key that slides in them an its the inside that is stripped not the stud.

ok so it's kinda like this right:

If so, and if you have room between the nut and your wheel, you might be able to hammer a socket over the top of it and loosen the nut. I'd probably get a hardened socket (impact socket)

You may also be able to get a larger hex tool and hammer it in there and loosen it.
