Default Made my decision! Turbo it is!

Well....I've finally decided to go turbo instead of SC. I've done quite a bit of research and am going to piece together a setup rather than buy a kit. I've read alot of forums on different setups for a b18b ls but hoping you guys could help out.

Heres the deal.......b18b with H.E and Intake and stock internals. I've only got 18K miles on the car so I need something that will be fairly reliable. I'm not looking to kick every cars *** on the street.....but I want to have enough to be able to make this worthwhile. However...I've got a few questions.

First, which turbo should I go with? I've looked at alot but need to know what everyone has had good results and reliablity from. Also..... exactly what fuel management stuff do I need to keep from detonating this thing. I'm only expecting to put 6 to 8 psi boost on this so I think the motor will be ok huh?? Like I said...I want this setup as basic as possible but still be able to use it without it screwing something up. Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

If you have to ask what kind of turbo and management and stuff that you need, you need to do wayyyyy more research before you even touch a turbo piece.

There are a few brands that have been reliable. Just search around in the forced induction forum, and learn a little bit more.

get a precision sc34 you'll be very happy with it and it will give you decent numbers for a low boost setup on a stock block.
