Default made a mini rod

just got back from leave at home in the sticks of missouri made a mini rod with my grandfather.

2inch steel stock and sheet metal frame.

400 small block homemade headers, edelbrock intake mani, holly carb(have a dominator now) comp cams ,lawnmower front rims and tires nice shiney rim and custom cut rear tires and wheelie bars.

next project is to use a honda engine and turbo

I run in the 1500 class......1500 pounds with driver anything goes ecept nitrous

hope you like i have vids but dont know where to host them so if youw ant to lemme know and then we can get soem badass vids.


grandpa sitting on my ride his is the one behind with the roll cage..his runs a 383. alil faster than mine better parts.

Hmmm, yeah I used to run in the stock class, NGTPA is too expinsive to run, cost less for me to drag race

the motor cam from an old chevy pickup the perforance parts came from a monte carlo ss i wrecked in high school. everything else was made in the garage.. its a blast though isnt it? not to expensive in missouri. mine pulled in the mo state fair didnt make second round because my dad snapped an axle.

those things gota fly. what are they? haha.. ummm? huh? drag machines?? do they pull like those tractor puller things or whatever tehy are called. it looks ssick tho.

yea they are pullin tractors they pull a weighted sled....... ive watched them several times at these lil fairs we have in the smaller towns in TN..... but damn never seen anything with any kind of engine like that in it! thats tite as hell! the ones i always see have street bike engines on them up to like 1300 hyabusa's and nothin with turbos

great machine! i would love to see some vids!

i got another question for ya....... how do you get the power to the wheels? like what tranny and rear end do those use?

yea tractor pulls haha it uses a toyota rear axle narrowed to fit the frame. and it uses a speed power glide. my dad drove it int he missouri state fair and snapped an axle. so id like to use a ford 9 inch or a chevy 12 bolt.
ive seen them run turbotractor engine bike engines, theres a dude that runs a volks wagen beetle engibe cut in haldf so its only a 2 cylinder, weird but it works
