Default can i use type r crank in b20 block??

i have type r crank, rods/pistons...what can i use in b20 block...i know i cant use the pistons, but can i use the rods?...is it the same stroke?

You can use the rods if you use the crank. And yes you can use the crank.

B20 stroke is 89mm and the rods are shorter. Type-R crank is 87.2mm and the rods are longer. Use the matching crank and rods ; you will be fine.

so your saying i can use the type r crank and rods in the b20 and i will have the stock b20 stroke?...i can still use b20 stock bore pistons and get the same deck height?

no. your stroke will decrease from 89mm to 87.2, you can use the type r crank and rods, essentially you'll have a bored out gsr/type r with shitty stock b20 sleeves.

You will end up close to 2000 c. I think is 197x. Thats what I did and have. Close enough.

you can use a type r or gsr crank in the b20 block.
and if you didn't know, the ls crank and b20 crank are the same shizz.

if you use a type r or gsr crank, use type r or gsr rods, or aftermarket rods of equal length unless you're getting custom sized rods of course.

use the b20z pistons if you can.

ask omniman or search for his post..his setup is similar to what you are asking of.
