I'm going to try fabricating simple spark plug covers for some 4g63 valve covers, and I'm wondering what type of metal to use, and where to get it.

My main concern is ease of polishing, second concern is cost. What thickness do I need? Like I said, I'm only fabbing up a small 3x10 sheet of metal.
