Default Fuel Pressure with CTR pistons and JUN III

I cant get any dyno time for about two weeks so im trying to get as close enough to running right as I can. My fuel pressure with the line on is 42 PSI. Timing is at 18 BTDC. I have an upgraded 190lph fuel pump. VAFC will be coming next week. My setup is in the signature, any input is greatly appreciated.

nobody can tell exactly what your car needs over the internet dude. but I'll tell you this. read your plugs. go up in 2 psi increments. Believe it or not you're not gonna need as high of a fuel pressure as you may need. I would say around 50 psi tops. You're gonna want an ecu with those cams and that compression trust me.

let us know what you put down.

O yea that exhaust is wayyyyyyyy to restrictive. You need a 2.5" (no less-even jun will tell you )exhaust the stock itr exhaust sucks ***. get a custom system from a muffler shop with like a magnaflow. don't buy aftermarket they are still undersized and way overpriced.

thanx for the info bro. I know its hard to tune over the net. I will have dyno time in 2 weeks, or if anyone in NJ knows where I can get some ASAP. The car does feel really strong, but fuel is the main issue. As soon as I can get to a dyno i can adjust the fuel. I dont want to spend 1800.00 on a JUN ecu. So im trying to find an OBD I p28 ecu (if anyone has one, please email me). My friend has some JUN chips, that will help out (even though each JUN chip can be different). I know the exhaust is restrictive. I got a hookup for this wednesday for a custom 2.5 inch rolled stainless exhaust with an Apex N1 muffler.

never take pressure readings with vacuum. ALWAYS without vacuum.

i would say 65 is a safe limit before long term problems can surface.

For the record.. Mike M.'s car has the JUN3 cams.. Endyn 12:1 pistons, Mugen header and Tanabe exhaust.
we didnt even bother with stock injectors
w/ rc 270cc the best pressure was 50 psi

changed to rc 310cc and pressure is 35.. power is best with these as well.

this is on a skunk2 obd-1 p28... sfc-vtec controller.. like +1 or +2 everywhere.

those things like fuel in VTEC. a LOT!

Mike thanx for the info. Im trying to get my hands on an obd 1 P28 ecu. It sucks because in NJ there aren't to many places to get dyno time (at least not that I know of). Also, do u think that DC 4-1 header could be a problem as well. I have a 2.5 exhaust coming this week.
