Default Just turning 100K

How about that. When I bought the car, I heard all the horror stories about short lived components and premature deaths of these beasts..

But hey, the car still basically drives like new! Just tires( third set ), oil and valve adjustments. Still have the original brakes, plugs etc.. ( belt change due this week though..)

Mind you I did swap out the FD this summer and change the clutch just because I was in there, but it worked fine before the swap..

Gotta say, this is the best car we ever had for the dual purpose of kid ferry and fun toy... Thanks Honda!

That's awesome

Should've changed the flywheel while you were in there. The ACT one is relatively cheap.

I've been walking to work for the past 2 years (I hate traffic ). Most of my mileage is from weekends and out of town trips.

I wish I had a 4.9 FD

Yes that's about 60,000 miles..

I did change the Flywheel..to a ACT prolite, as well as the clutch, ATS fd and the GSR 5th gear. You'd like the 4.9 for sure, especially around town, cause I notice the most differance at part throttle...

My god, do you think I'm turning into a mod *****?

Mark .. who will be cutting holes into his car like Pooface if he's not careful...

Congrats on hitting 100k Id assume you don't drive it hard though since your still on original brakes.

Welcome to the club, we'll almost I turned 100k a few months ago and the car still feels like my deceased '01 with 20k on it.

You did the same drivetrain upgrade as me, minus the gsr 5th. ats+act= You should treat your car (and yourself) to a nice treat, like suspension! That's my future purchase for #98

Bought my first ITR (97 #236) with 28K miles on it in Jan of 99, drove it up to 125K miles at which time it got a replacement built turbo motor ... RIP (wrecked) @138K miles.

Presently I'm at 78K miles in 97 #151.
Doesn't burn virtually any oil, recent I/H/E ... to be tracked some next year.
