got intake, i am lame, but now what?
i am looking at exhaust and realizing i am only talking about a few HP gains after running full exhaust....and it is expensive.
really the cost isnt the problem, but the value, getting a full kit for 500 and then it installed for MAX maybe 8 HP? lame....
so what should i do, i hear the prelude exhaust is pretty decent stock, what would you guys suggest doing to my car to gain power at good value. Lone luder, i would love to hear from you being the king of N/A lol. i am not looking for a turbo or nos or anything, just an upgrade that wouldnt be toooo expensive and wouldnt hurt my car. And yes i know any performance upgrade will effect the car, but you know what i mean, i dont want to bore out my engine or anything.
so any suggestions?

just buy whatever muffler you want and then take it and your car to an exhaust shop and have them mandrel bend one for you and stick your muffler on. get between 2.25 inches to 2.75 inches.
i wish i would of done that but i bought my hks exhaust before i joined honda-tech. it still good anyway. i plan on turboing it but that wont happen for years since i'm only 17.

yeah i know i could do that, i will prolly do that if i went exhaust, but it is still maybe 8 HP.
i guess that is decent, but i am looking for real gains, and i really dont it want to be a rice mobile.

well are you going to build for high horsepower naturally aspirated?
if you are you're going to have to do alot more than basic bolt ons.

if your car doesnt breathe better then nothing you do will make much difference. if you are disgusted by a 6whp gain for $500 then you picked the wrong car.
hell the JRSC gives what, 50 - 65 whp for 3.2 grand. oh, and that doesnt include any support equipement to make it work without blowing your engine.

turbonetics has this nice ballbearing t3/t4 hybrid turbo kit that gives you about 90 hp at 8 psi for about that much. but that dont include any of the support equipment like you mentioned.
